Daycare & Training
Aloha Dog provides dog training during daycare.
Our special dog trainer in place of a dog’s owner shall provide private training once in the morning and afternoon. We are advise that you continue the training at home till next time of training.

- We advise you to training more than twice a week
- There will be charge of $10 for training and an additional charge of $25 for daycare
- All dogs must pass our evaluation interview (Free)
- 1hr free daycare after evaluation interview.
- We require Proof of Vaccinations(DHLPP+Bordetella) Flea & Tick Prevention Program.
- Male dogs over 9 months old must be NEUTERED.
Daycare & Puppy Training (Up to 6 month old, 2 times a week minimum)
Here is the list of the training during the daycare.
- 1. Socializing with other dogs
- Learn the rules of the pack through the socialization with other dogs.
- 2. Socializing with people
- Lack of socialization often results in fearful or aggressive behavior. We will socialize through friendly interaction with people.
- 3. Health care
- (1)Relax Position(Lay on his back)To accustom your dog to be touched their paws, tail, ear and etc. helps bonding with the owner and helps to find any problems with health. Also make it easier for vets to handle.
- (2)BrushingBy getting brushed daily, skin problem can be found easily and make it less stressful when getting groomed. And of course your dog enjoy getting brushed !
- (3)Teeth CleaningWe offer free teeth cleaning service during daycare. Healthy teeth gives your dog a long healthy life.
- 4. Basic Training
- To teach sit, lay down, recall, stay and mouthing
- 5. Socializing with environment outside
- To get accustomed to vehicles, bikes, people and etc. after completing vaccination.
Training sessions
- 1. Basic training
- ~Minimum 10 days of training sessions during daycare~
- Learn the basic training such as “Come” “Sit” “Lay down” “Stay” and “Heel”. These are commands to help to have a good quality life with.
- 2. Training for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test
- ~Minimum 20 days of training sessions during daycare~
- AKC CGC Test requires ...* Basic training* Friendly with people and dogs* Walk with owner without pulling on leash* Stay calm regardless of with loud noises* Stay calm when the owner is not around
- 3. Training to become a therapy dog
- ~Minimum 30 days of training sessions during daycare~
- To become a therapy dog, dogs must pass AKC CGC Test and Temperament Test. Also handler must pass the American Red Cross test.
- It dogs passed all the tests, they will have an opportunity to volunteer at the Tripler Army Medical Center as a therapy dog.
Boarding & Training (Overnight training)
ALOHA DOG offers training during boarding.
This is a more effective way of training during daycare since your dog will spend 24 hrs a day with the dog trainer. They will spend time at daycare during the day time and goes home with the trainer at night.
This training is recommended for the dogs with problems that are hard to correct during daycare training such as barking at the other dogs/people, potty training... etc
We recommend minimum two weeks of this training.
